Health and Wellbeing Solutions brings nearly three decades of experience in areas such as mental health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease prevention, cholesterol and weight management, lifestyle advice, public health strategy, health promotion, men’s health, musculoskeletal problems (specialist interest in biomechanical assessment and orthotics), sports injuries and podiatric medicine.
David James Simpson is the founder of Health and Wellbeing Solutions. He works in partnership with a number of highly skilled professionals to deliver health and wellbeing solutions to industry and commerce. The team comes from backgrounds such as human resources, dietetics & nutrition, personal fitness & coaching, psychology, occupational therapy, occupational health, cardiology, physiotherapy and mental health.
David has project managed and has clinically delivered a number wellbeing and screening services for the NHS and Public Health Wales in partnership with local government, employers and the Ministry of Justice. A recent screening project David helped establish has recently won a national UK Health Service Journal (HSJ) award and is currently being delivered as a national prevention screening service in Wales. He holds a Master of Science , a Graduate Diploma, a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours and a Post Graduate Certificate. He is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Specialist Practitioner and is also registered with the Healthcare Professions Council as a Podiatrist.
